TradingMinds.in aims to provide accurate, useful, and up-to-date financial information.
Because financial information can change rapidly and errors can occasionally occur, we maintain this Corrections Policy to explain how we handle factual errors, outdated information, and reader-reported issues.
1. Our Commitment to Accuracy
We make reasonable efforts to verify information before publishing it.
However, no information system is completely free from errors, and market-related information can change quickly.
If we identify a material factual error, we aim to review and correct the information as soon as reasonably practical.
2. What Can Be Corrected?
Corrections may include errors involving:
- IPO dates
- IPO price bands
- Issue size
- Lot size
- Subscription figures
- Allotment dates
- Listing dates
- Registrar information
- Company information
- Financial figures
- GMP values
- Gold prices
- Silver prices
- Stock-market information
- Calculations
- Spelling of important names
- Links to sources
- Other factual information
3. How Corrections Are Made
When a factual error is identified, we review the relevant information against available sources.
If a correction is necessary, the incorrect information will be replaced or corrected.
For significant corrections, we may also update the article’s Last Updated date or add an appropriate correction note.
4. Minor Corrections
Minor issues such as:
- Spelling mistakes
- Grammar
- Formatting
- Broken links
- Minor wording changes
may be corrected without adding a separate correction notice.
These changes do not necessarily require a change to the article’s publication date.
5. Material Corrections
A material correction is an important factual change that could affect a reader’s understanding of the information.
Examples may include:
- Incorrect IPO price
- Incorrect IPO dates
- Incorrect lot size
- Incorrect issue size
- Incorrect subscription data
- Incorrect financial figures
- Incorrect GMP calculation
- Incorrect gold or silver price
- Other significant factual errors
When appropriate, material corrections may be accompanied by a correction note or updated timestamp.
6. GMP Corrections and Updates
IPO GMP is unofficial and can change frequently.
A change in GMP does not necessarily mean that an earlier article contained an error.
For example, if an IPO’s GMP changes from ₹10 to ₹15 after publication, the earlier ₹10 figure may have been accurate at the time it was reported.
Where possible, GMP pages should therefore identify the relevant update date or time.
If the previously published GMP figure itself was incorrect because of a data or reporting error, we will correct it.
7. Gold and Silver Price Corrections
Gold and silver prices can change throughout the day and can vary between sources, cities, dealers, and jewellers.
A price change after publication does not automatically constitute an error.
If a published price was incorrect because of a calculation, data-entry, or source error, we will review and correct it where appropriate.
8. Reader Correction Requests
Readers can report potential errors to TradingMinds.in.
A useful correction request should include:
- The article or page
- The information believed to be incorrect
- The corrected information, if known
- A reliable source supporting the correction
We may review the information against official or reliable sources before making a change.
9. Source Verification
When reviewing a correction, we may consult:
- Company documents
- IPO prospectuses
- NSE
- BSE
- SEBI
- Registrar websites
- Company announcements
- Official financial reports
- Other reliable publicly available sources
The final correction decision is based on the available evidence and relevant source information.
10. Historical Content
Older articles may contain information that was accurate at the time of publication but is no longer current.
Examples include:
- Historical GMP
- Previous gold prices
- Previous silver prices
- Earlier stock prices
- Past IPO subscription data
- Previous company information
Historical information is not necessarily an error simply because it differs from current information.
Where appropriate, we may retain historical information while clearly identifying its relevant date.
11. Corrections and Editorial Independence
Corrections are made based on factual accuracy and editorial considerations.
Commercial relationships, advertisements, sponsorships, or affiliate arrangements do not determine whether a factual correction is made.
12. No Guarantee of Error-Free Content
Although we make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate information, TradingMinds.in cannot guarantee that every page will always be completely free from errors or immediately reflect every market change.
Readers should verify important and time-sensitive information through relevant official sources.
13. Contact Us About Corrections
