Kanohar Electricals Limited was incorporated in 1972 and is engaged in the manufacturing of transformers for the Indian electrical infrastructure market.
The company serves several important sectors, including power transmission, power distribution, railways and renewable energy. Its operations are divided into two principal segments: transformer manufacturing and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC).
Kanohar Electricals is among the limited number of transformer manufacturers in India certified by the Research Designs and Standards Organisation (RDSO) for manufacturing 100 MVA 132 kV Scott transformers used in railway applications.
The company operates two manufacturing facilities at Rithani and Gangol in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Together, these facilities had an aggregate transformer manufacturing capacity of approximately 19,200 MVA as of March 31, 2026.
